Can’t taste the strawberry at all, the pink peppercorns completely overwhelm the flavor of the cookies. This was my first time using pink peppercorns in anything and I was pleasantly surprised with their fruity hints of flavor while also being peppery. I was expecting to taste the strawberry though and was sad that I didn’t, might try this recipe again without the peppercorns to see how the strawberry comes through on its own. The cookies aren’t bad just not what I was expecting.
